Classification Of Distribution Cabinets
The distribution cabinet refers to the final equipment of the distribution system, including power distribution cabinets, lighting distribution cabinets, metering cabinets, etc. High And Low Voltage Distribution Cabinets is a general term for motor control centers, which are mainly divided into three levels of distribution equipment.
(1) The first-level distribution equipment is collectively referred to as the power distribution center. They are centrally installed in the enterprise's substation to distribute electric energy to the lower-level distribution equipment in different locations. This level of equipment relies only on step-down transformers, so the electrical parameter requirements are relatively high and the output circuit capacity is also large.
(2) The second-level distribution equipment is a general term for power distribution cabinets and motor control centers. Power distribution cabinets are used in places where the load is relatively dispersed and there are fewer circuits; motor control centers are used in places where the load is concentrated and there are more circuits. They distribute the electric energy of a circuit of the upper-level distribution equipment to the nearest load. This level of equipment should provide protection, monitoring and control for the load.
(3) The final-level distribution equipment is collectively referred to as the lighting power distribution box. They are far away from the power supply center and are dispersed small-capacity distribution equipment.
