High Voltage Disconnect Switch Operating Range
General Provisions High Voltage Disconnect Switch Permitted Operating Range
1. Pull and close voltage transformers and lightning arresters under normal conditions.
2. Pull and close 220kV no-load busbars.
3. Pull and close the neutral point of the transformer when there is no ground fault in the power grid.
4. Pull and close the bypass current after the switch or disconnector is closed.
5. Outdoor vertical split-type triple disconnectors, pull and close no-load transformers with excitation currents not exceeding 2A at 220kV and above and no-load lines with capacitive currents not exceeding 5A.
6. 10kV outdoor triple disconnectors pull and close load currents not exceeding 15A.
7. 10kV disconnectors pull and close loop balancing currents not exceeding 70A.
