When conducting seismic verification, two key parameters need to be clarified. The first is the design seismic acceleration value or intensity level determined by the site seismic hazard assessment; the second is whether the response spectrum analysis, time-history shaking table test, or static/dynamic analysis methods of the equipment structure and supporting foundations meet the code requirements. For High Voltage Disconnect Switch, the code recommends that structural and functional stability verification be carried out under seismic intensity ≤8 degrees.
