High Voltage Isolating Switch Features

1. When inspecting electrical equipment, provide an electrical interval and a clearly visible disconnection point to ensure the personal safety of maintenance personnel.
2.High Voltage Disconnect Switch cannot be operated with load: cannot be operated with rated load or large load, cannot separate or close load current and short-circuit current, but can be operated with small load and no-load line if there is an arc extinguishing chamber.
3. During general power supply operation: first close the isolating switch, then close the circuit breaker or load switch; during power off operation: first disconnect the circuit breaker or load switch, then disconnect the isolating switch.
4. When selected, it is the same as other electrical equipment, and its rated voltage, rated current, dynamic stability current, thermal stability current, etc. must meet the needs of the use occasion.
The function of the isolating switch is to disconnect the circuit without load current. Make the equipment under maintenance have an obvious disconnection point with the power supply to ensure the safety of the maintenance personnel. The isolating switch cannot cut off the load current and short-circuit current without a special arc extinguishing device, so the isolating switch can only be operated when the circuit is disconnected by the circuit breaker.
