Correct Power Disconnection Sequence For High-voltage Disconnecting Switches
Date: | Read: 11
According to electrical safety regulations, power outage operations should be performed in the following order: circuit breaker - load-side high-voltage disconnect switch - power-side high-voltage disconnect switch. Operators must not operate High Voltage Disconnect Switch under load, as it does not have the ability to interrupt load current. During maintenance work, any opened high-voltage disconnect switches should be marked with a "Do Not Close" warning sign to prevent accidental power restoration by others.
