Wall Switch And Power Cord Connection Process
When installing the Wall Switch switch, start with the power cord path, ensuring the live, neutral, and ground wires enter the pre-installed junction box according to the installation instructions. Run the power cord through conduit into the wall, stripping a suitable amount of insulation, and connect the exposed copper cores to the wall switch terminals as labeled. Connect the live wire to the switch's toggle terminal, maintain a stable neutral circuit, and connect the ground wire to the ground terminal. Before connecting to the panel, it is recommended to bend the wire ends and secure them with screws to reduce the risk of loosening. After all wiring is complete, insert the switch into the junction box and lock it in place. Before restoring power, use testing tools to measure the voltage between terminals and the switch's operational status. After completing the process, install the outer cover to proceed to the final functional testing phase.
