Safe selection and use of low voltage distribution boxes

The protection type of low-voltage distribution box should be selected according to the conditions of the workplace.

(i) In places with low risk where the relative humidity does not exceed 75%, there is no dust, no corrosive gas or vapor, and no flammable and explosive substances, the Power distribution cabinet can be selected as an open type.

(ii) In particularly humid places with a relative humidity close to 100% and places with corrosive gases or vapors, a protective type should be selected.

(iii) In dusty places where a large amount of dust can be generated, a dust-proof distribution box should be selected.

(iv) In H-1 and H-2 fire hazard places with flammable liquids and suspended, accumulated combustible dust or combustible fibers, a dust-proof type should be selected; in H-3 fire hazard places with solid combustible substances, a protective type can be selected.

(v) Selection in explosion-hazardous places.
