According to GB/T 15166 standard, the drop out fuse rated current should be selected according to the following principles:
1. Distribution transformer capacity ≤100kVA: select 1.5 times the transformer rated current.
2. When the capacity is in the range of 100kVA＜capacity≤315kVA, it is advisable to select 2.0 - 2.5 times the rated current.
3. Capacity＞315kVA: Short-circuit current calculation is required and relay protection is coordinated.
