Precautions For Safe Operation Of Hospital Electricians

Since the hospital is a special place, the power equipment must be timely, and irreversible accidents cannot be caused by the failure of a certain high and low voltage complete set of equipment. In order to ensure the timeliness and foolproofness of the Power distribution cabinet system, there are strict requirements for construction personnel:

1. Hospital electricians must be trained and obtain job qualification certificates. Personnel who have not obtained job certificates without training are not allowed to engage in electrical work.
2. Before electrical work, it is necessary to check whether the tools, measuring instruments and protective equipment are intact, and work can only be done when the performance is good.
3. Before any electrical equipment or line maintenance inspection, it is necessary to test the electricity. It is strictly forbidden to touch it with your hands and engage in repairs without testing the electricity to confirm whether there is electricity.
4. It is strictly forbidden to disassemble and repair electrical equipment and lines during operation. When implementing electrical equipment maintenance, the power supply must be cut off, the furnace breaker must be removed, and the general sign of "No closing, someone is working" must be hung. Only when it is confirmed that there is no electricity can the work be carried out. When carrying out line maintenance, if necessary, a temporary grounding wire should be connected and hung, and a special person should be on duty to supervise.
5. After the maintenance is completed, the tools and accessories must be counted to prevent accidents caused by leaving them in the equipment.
6. When the electrical equipment is repaired by special maintenance personnel, the on-duty electrician must register, explain and check together after the repair, and power can be supplied only after confirming that it is good.
7. Electricians must obtain approval from leaders and be supervised by special personnel before performing live work on low-voltage equipment, and operate in strict accordance with regulations.
8. The knife switch on the power equipment is prohibited from being pulled open with load.
9. The capacity of the fuse must be compatible with the installation capacity of the equipment and line. When loading and unloading furnace electrical appliances with power, electricians should wear protective glasses and insulating gloves, and use insulating pliers when necessary, and stand on insulating pads to work.

10. The metal casing of all electrical equipment must be grounded, and the grounding wire must meet the standard requirements. The grounding wire of the casing must not be disconnected for electrical equipment.
11. After the electrical appliances or lines in the hospital are removed, the wire ends that may be live must be wrapped tightly with insulating cloth in time to ensure safety.
12. When installing lighting fixtures, the switch must be connected to the live wire, and the lamp socket thread must be connected to the neutral wire, just in case.
13. Do not stack flammable, explosive, humid, or objects that affect operation near power distribution boards, distribution boxes, switches, transformers, and other electrical equipment.
14. When using power tools, wear insulating gloves and stand on insulating pads. When using ladders and fountain lights, strictly follow the safety operating instructions.
15. When a fire or other accident occurs in electrical equipment, the electrician should immediately cut off the power supply and use carbon dioxide or carbon dioxide fire extinguishers to extinguish the fire. It is strictly forbidden to use water to extinguish the fire.
