Potential Hazards Caused By Aging Wall Switches And Arcing
When electrical sparks continue to occur at the contacts of Wall Switch, the wires and components may have already begun to experience overheating or arc discharge. Prolonged arcing can cause the plastic insulation to deform or even melt, and this heat buildup increases the risk of surrounding materials overheating, potentially causing the internal circuit temperature to rise without warning.
Sparking may also be related to loose connections inside the wall switch. Unsecured copper wire connections are prone to arcing when energized, leading to unstable current and affecting the stability of the entire circuit.
