Misoperation Of High Voltage Isolating Switch

Date: | Read: 23

During operation, if the High Voltage Disconnect Switch is accidentally closed, even if the error is found, even if an arc occurs during the closing process, it is never allowed to be opened again. Because the disconnector with load may cause a three-phase arc short circuit accident, which is very dangerous. On the other hand, if the disconnector is pulled by mistake, an arc will be generated as soon as the blade leaves the fixed contact, and immediate action should be taken to close the disconnector to prevent accidents. However, once the disconnector has been fully opened, it is strictly forbidden to try to close it again.
