Insulation Resistance Index When The Wall Switch Is Off

During the inspection process, with switch Wall Switch in the disconnected (main power circuit cut off) state, the resistance values between different terminals and the outer casing are measured using an insulation resistance tester. Relevant national standards stipulate that when the switch is disconnected, the inter-directional insulation resistance should be ≥2MΩ.
The purpose of this measurement is to confirm that parameters such as the switch's insulation material, construction gaps, and creepage distance can prevent leakage or unexpected current paths under actual manufacturing and installation conditions.
