Open the Wall Switch internal wiring and inspect it. Besides checking that the wall switch is powered, you should also inspect the wiring for errors. Some wall switches may have the neutral and live wires wired reversed, or may be missing a neutral or ground wire. Wiring errors can easily lead to electrical safety issues. To verify proper wiring, use a wall switch tester. By observing the N, PE, and L lights on the electroscope, you can determine if the wall switch is fully functional.
