Drop-out fuse Shock load tolerance

Date: | Read: 40

In the case of instantaneous impacts such as motor starting, drop out fuse needs to be able to withstand a short-term overload capacity of 6 to 8 times the rated current. The design needs to be combined with the load type (resistive/inductive/capacitive), and its dynamic stability and thermal stability should be checked according to IEC 60282 standard.
