Core Factors Affecting Load Capacity Of Drop-out Fuses

Ambient temperature compensation ‌
For every 1°C increase in ambient temperature, the continuous load capacity of drop out fuse will decrease by 0.5% to 0.8%. In plateau areas (altitude > 1000 meters), derating correction is required. For every 100 meters increase in altitude, the current carrying capacity decreases by about 1%.
