The Cold Shrink Cable Accessories uses highly elastic silicone rubber. This material is resistant to aging, high temperatures, UV radiation, and corrosion, enabling it to maintain stable insulation and sealing performance during long-term operation.
The cold-shrink cable accessory is manufactured using a pre-expansion process. During installation, after the support core rope is removed, the silicone rubber automatically shrinks, tightly fitting the cable body. The shrunken accessory exerts continuous radial pressure on the cable's outer sheath and insulation layer. This pressure responds synchronously to the cable's "breathing" (thermal expansion and contraction), maintaining interface sealing and insulation stability.
