If the wiring inside Wall Switch is loose for a long time or the insulation layer is damaged, it will create local high resistance contact and cause overheating. If flammable materials such as paper, cloth, or wood are present near the overheated area, they may ignite when the temperature reaches the ignition point.
The tiny electric arc generated by the switch contacts during the switching process is also a common trigger for igniting surrounding combustibles. Low-quality or aging wall switches, in particular, have a higher risk of poor contact. When the arc is released in the presence of combustible dust or nearby flammable materials, the probability of flame formation increases significantly.
