Actual Operating Environment Considerations For High-voltage Disconnect Switches
Date: | Read: 26
In actual operation, the ambient air temperature of the High Voltage Disconnect Switch should be maintained between -30℃ and +40℃ to meet the risk control of thermal expansion, thermal cycling fatigue, and insulation failure of its mechanical movement and electrical structure. Temperatures below -30℃ may cause increased lubricant viscosity and mechanical jamming; temperatures above +40℃ may cause excessive thermal expansion of the metal structure, insufficient heat dissipation of hot-carrying components, and decreased electrical insulation performance.
