A Faulty Wall Switch Could Cause A Fire Involving Flammable Materials.

Wall Switch may experience poor contact or wear of internal contacts during long-term use. Such faults can lead to high-impedance connections, causing excessive heat to be generated at the contacts, raising the temperature high enough to ignite nearby flammable materials. Environmental factors such as moisture and dust accumulation can also exacerbate resistance changes in conductive parts, causing an electric arc to form inside the switch. This arcing process generates instantaneous high temperatures, potentially igniting flammable materials near walls, such as wooden decorations or paper.
