The Cold Shrink Cable Accessories expansion equipment is non-standard equipment, and the scientific design of the expansion equipment and the quality of the expansion process control directly affect the product quality and play a positive role in the long-term safe operation of the cable. The manufacturing methods of cold-shrinkable cable accessories can be broadly summarized as pneumatic expansion and mechanical expansion.
(1) Pneumatic expansion method: This method uses compressed air and vacuum to provide a certain pressure to expand the product.  Specifically, a certain air pressure is applied inside the tube, and negative pressure is applied outside the tube for expansion.  A support tube is then inserted. This method offers a large radial expansion ratio, and the inner and outer walls of the tube are smooth and free of defects. It is a relatively practical expansion method and represents a trend in the development of expansion technology.
(2) Mechanical expansion method: This method uses mechanical motion to expand or stretch the product.  Specifically, a steel wire support frame conical rod is inserted for expansion, and a support tube is inserted.  Longitudinal stretching is almost zero, but the fatal drawback is that the steel wire can easily damage the inner wall of the tube, causing serious defects.
